General surgery examines general issues of many systems in the body such as the endocrine system (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal gland), digestive system (esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, pancreas, liver, biliary system), breast diseases, trauma, burns. It is a science that provides medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the systems.
In our hospital, all surgical procedures performed in the field of general surgery are performed with world-class technical equipment, accompanied by experienced surgeons, anesthesiologists, and experienced and trained staff.
Laparoscopy is to observe the inside of the abdomen using an optical device. This device is inserted into the abdomen through a small 1 cm under-umbilical incision. By illuminating the inside of the abdomen, it gives the opportunity to directly observe the diseases or problems related to the uterus, ovaries and tubes and, if necessary, to treat them with auxiliary instruments inserted through 3-5 mm holes in the lower abdomen at the same time.
Laparoscopic Hernia Surgery
In the general surgery department of our hospital, laparoscopic inguinal hernia operations and laparoscopic umbilical hernia operations are frequently performed with the TEPP technique.
Laparoscopic Appendectomy (Appendicitis)
Diagnostic laparoscopy and laparoscopic treatment of acute appendicitis are performed in the general surgery clinic of our hospital.
Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (Gallbladder)
Standard laparoscopic gallbladder surgery is successfully applied in our hospital.
Our hospital is the only fully equipped hospital that provides the most comprehensive healthcare services in the region. For this reason, we are always prepared, fast and successful in interventions for accidents and injuries as a surgical team.
In our hospital, patients who are decided to have surgery are provided 24-hour uninterrupted service using advanced surgical techniques with conventional (open) and laparoscopic (minimally invasive) methods. As a result of the polyclinic applications of the patients, planned operations are performed and necessary emergency surgical interventions are performed as a result of emergency applications.
