LUNG CANCER
Lung cancer is a disease caused by the uncontrolled proliferation of cells in normal lung tissue. As a result of this uncontrolled proliferation in the lung, masses of varying sizes are formed, causing damage by spreading to both surrounding tissues and distant organs (often liver, bone, brain) in more advanced stages of the disease.
